Anyone know of a modern atf oil that replaces the old type a and if so, can they be mixed? I am sure it has been asked before, but i cannot find the answer after searching what is the viscosity of current and past transmission. I was planning on mobil 1's lv atf hp. Atf+4 is pretty much a dealer item. Transmission in question is a 1954 dual range 4. From what i understand there is difference and it may not be a good idea to try to substitute atf+3.
